Transcribe and summarise a recording
For a meeting that was recorded. You don't create a live session first.
Upload it
- Choose Upload recording.
- Press Choose a file and choose an audio or video recording. The browser checks that it can read its sound; if it can't, convert the file to MP3 or M4A and try again. Only the sound is uploaded, with the file's name.
- Check the title and choose the spoken languages. Under Translations choose up to 10 languages for the transcript, and under Summary languages up to 5 languages for the summary. Turn on Label who speaks to number who speaks, and add a glossary if names matter.
- Check At most against Your balance and press Transcribe and summarise.
- Keep the page open, with the screen on, until Upload complete appears; then you can close it. The summary is emailed to you when it is ready, and Open meeting page shows the progress.
Good to know
A recording costs 2 credits a minute of audio, or 7 with speaker labels, plus its translations and summary. The page shows the most it can cost before anything is uploaded.
Without speaker labels, the times of the sentences are approximate.
