Use more than one spoken language

A session can have up to 3 spoken languages, for example English and the community's main language.

Set it up

  1. Under Speaker language, choose the language used most.
  2. Add the others, up to 2, under Also spoken. Don't choose Detect automatically when the session uses several languages.
  3. Under Caption languages, choose any other languages attendees should read.

How it works

Each sentence is shown as it was said to readers of its language and translated for everyone else.

The spoken languages don't count toward the limit of caption languages. A spoken language someone reads is charged like a translated language in the minutes something is translated into it.

Khmer, Punjabi and Sinhala can be caption languages but not spoken languages. The languages page lists them all.
