Universities, schools and training
Lectures, seminars and training sessions where some students or trainees follow better in their first language.
How HoloTalk helps
- Students scan the QR code and read the lecture in their language while it is given, with up to 10 translated languages per session.
- Students who ask receive the summary by email in their language, and its link opens the session's page with the full transcript.
- Hosts can upload the recording of a past lecture to get its transcript, translations and summary.
- Specialist terms in the glossary are recognised and translated consistently.
Things to know
- HoloTalk is not a substitute for the captioning or interpreting a student is entitled to under disability standards, such as CART captioning or Auslan interpreting.
- Tell students and guest speakers that the session is transcribed and translated by AI, and obtain any consent your institution's policies or the law require.
